چکیده

This is a joint response from health care professional bodies within the UK. The response collates detailed information provided by the British Institute of Radiology (BIR), Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM), the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), the Society and College of Radiographers (CSoR), the British Chapter of the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (BChISMRM) and the Institute of Physics (IOP).

International commission on non-ionizing radiation protection.

The rapid development of technologies using static magnetic fields particularly in medicine has resulted in an increase in human exposure to very high static magnetic fields. ICNIRP is the internationally recognised body that sets guidelines for protection against adverse health effects of non-ionizing radiation including static magnetic fields. It has recently published guidelines on limiting ...

ارزیابی میدان‌های الکتریکی و مغناطیسی لامپ‌های کم مصرف از نوع فلورسنت فشرده از دیدگاه حفاظت پرتوی

The technology used in energy-saving compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), provides a quarter of the energy consumption of incandescent lamps to produce equivalent light energy while CLFs shelf life is up to ten times of incandescent lamps. So the incandescent lamps in homes and workplaces are replaced with CFLs. Due to the use of ballast in the structure of CFLs, electric and magnetic fields are g...

ICNIRP Guidelines GUIDELINES FOR LIMITING EXPOSURE TO ELECTRIC FIELDS INDUCED BY MOVEMENT OF THE HUMAN BODY IN A STATIC MAGNETIC FIELD AND BY TIME-VARYING MAGNETIC FIELDS BELOW 1 HZ

INTRODUCTION IN THIS document, guidelines are established for the protection of workers moving in static magnetic fields or being exposed to magnetic fields with frequencies below 1 Hz. This includes, but is not limited to workers engaged in activities related to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The general principles for the development of ICNIRP guidelines are published elsewhere (ICNIRP 200...
